Same song, different radio station. What’s on talk radio? How many times have you came across something on the AM side of the radio or was fipping through your SIRIUS/XM Radio and came to the end of a talk radio show that you wish you could have heard in its entirety? Podcasting is perfect for that. You don’t neccessarily have to listen to it on that day, at that hour, but you can hear it whenever and where ever you want.
Various methods can be used to listen to podcats with the most common being an iPod or MP3 player (or any other type of moblile device player capable of downloading material). Placing, or downloading, a podcast onto your mobile device is as easy as making a pot of coffee or programming your DVR unit with your television set. As well as using a moblile device, another piece of equipment you can use is an adapter for listening to this device in your vehicle. There are various adapters on the market used for these such devices. Many new vehicles come equipt with built-in adapters for iPods. With the adapter you can listen to your devices through your stereo speakers of your vehicle, which makes the whole experience of owning them even more enjoyable.
When choosing a podcast to listen to, I recommend go to PodCastAwards.com and looking through what the “people” thought were the best to choose from. Everything from the best produced, where I stole the name “PodVader” given to a producer with ESPN, to the best comedy Podcast. If you are interested in social marketing tips of the trade, there’s a podcast for that. Your options are limitless.
